This morning i was super hungry & actually had a chance to grab something before work. I found this gem up the street! It isn't something i would choose off of appearance but i was very glad i did. The catfish was made to perfection!! I also really enjoyed my scrambled cheese eggs, in which i never order. The breakfast potatoes were nice & crispy! Service was in & out! Looks sure cbs be deceiving as inside was older folks enjoying breakfast & calm. Would recommend take out! Also am not a coffee person but had some being exhausted today & i am breezing through my day with my lite & sweet! My partner ordered French toast & said it was really good as well!

I have only ordered online from them, but the food is delicious and filling, with really good prices. The shrimp and grits is amazing, the salmon patties are really good, their omelettes are good too. Haven't tried everything on the menu but what I have is really good.

My First ordering from this Establishment I got the Sausage Patty Breakfast. The Eggs were fluffy, the grits were good as well, even the toast wasn't bad and the Sausage tasted like they came from my Mother's Kitchen. Needed to say I will indeed order again for some good lunch.

The best of the best. We stopped by for brunch on a Saturday morning. This place is definitely the neighborhood's favorite. We were welcomed by the young ladies behind the register and was immediately sat down. Love how friendly everyone was here. The serving control was definitely worth it. From the food, to the portion size, to the service-- we are glad we stopped by. We were 100% satisfied.

Growing up I always heard about how good the breakfast is here. Today is the day I decided to come place an order. The place is adjacent to a building in the parking lot. Due to COVID only 10 can dine in at a time. Only 3 people can be inside to order food. The cashier was nice and very respectful. Due to covid You have to wait outside for your phone. They have chairs for your wait. My food took 15-20 mins to cook which is fine with me.

Let me start off by saying that I have never been to the same restaurant multiple times back to back. I've been at Lakewood 4 times this week. Said to myself that's enough, I'll come back after a break or something. Well, it's day 5 and guess wtf I am?? I don't even LIVE over here! This is literally a 'hole in the wall gem' as the saying goes. Small restaurant inside a mostly empty strip mall that's only open 6-5, off in the cut and if you weren't looking for it well I'd wonder how you found it. Lakewood is wow. I've been a little bit of everywhere and tried a lil bit of everything. And Lakewood is wow. Honestly? I'm hoping you're reading this from inside already. Ambiance is homely, got square tables and folding chairs and it works! Everyone is friendly, from staff to customers. I forgot I was in Atlanta if I'm real, or at least thrown back in a time where southern hospitality was a real deal. Yelp is telling me to STFU so I'll stop the poetics. The food is delicious. The prices are cheap. The people are friendly. And the vibe is right. Go there already, and be sure to try the pie.
